Patients benefit from comprehensive support services that take their concerns seriously, and work to encourage quick recovery.  Surgical Services has recently expanded their urology service line with some of the latest technologies to support our newest Urologist, Dr. Jared Wachterman.  Our nursing staff has been specifically trained on the newest instrumentation from lasers to flexible scopes.  At the Finger Lakes Surgery Center we utilize shock waves to break up stones using a Lithotripsy machine that can be found in the kidney, bladder or ureter.  The painful stones can then be passed in your urine.
