The staff at the Total Joint Replacement Program of the Finger Lakes is comprised of experienced, board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, nurses and therapy staff who are highly trained in caring for the joint replacement patient.
As part of your education, you will receive a Patient Guidebook that contains valuable information about joint replacement, your hospital stay, and your recovery. We’ve included: pre-operative exercises to help strengthen muscle groups prior to surgery and activities you can do to prepare yourself and surroundings for your recovery phase; a detailed guide to educate you on what you can expect during your hospital stay; and post operative mobility guides and exercises to help ensure a safe and strong recovery.
