Consumer Product Safety

Geneva General Hospital is proud to be one of few hospitals in New York State, and one of approximately 50 hospitals in the United States, to provide the Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC's) National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) with information surrounding consumer product-related emergency traumas.  Information for each product-related injury is recorded in this national registry maintained by the CPSC. This system forms the basis for many product recalls and warnings.
