Anesthesia Services

Finger Lakes Health has a fully staffed anesthesiology department that serves both Geneva General Hospital and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, as well as the Finger Lakes Surgery Center in Geneva. 

An anesthesiologist is a medical doctor trained to safely administer anesthesia and manage the medical care of patients before, during and after surgery. Each surgery or procedure requiring anesthesia performed at Finger Lakes Health is managed by an anesthesiologist or a certified registered nurse anesthetist (under the supervision of a physician).
