Registration- Geneva General
Registration and Admissions at Geneva General Hospital is located just beyond the main lobby of the hospital. Patients stop here first to register for outpatient diagnostic services (such as laboratory testing, x-ray, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and other similar testing) and inpatient admissions.
When you enter the Registration suite, touch the screen on the kiosk for your number. This will ensure that patients are seen on a first come, first served basis. For your convenience, if you are having a laboratory test, you can keep your number, as the Lab is just a few steps away after you register.
The registrar at the window will review your personal information, and ask for your insurance card (if any), your hospital gold card and your order, signed by a physician. If you do not have a gold card, your registrar will be happy to make one for you at no cost.
What's a Gold Card?
The hospital gold card is the size of a credit/debit card. It includes your name and medical record number and is used to quickly and accurately access your information when you come for future visits.
The Registration and admissions department is open Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. - noon.
If you are arriving after these hours, please proceed to the Emergency Department, located at the end of the hall by the Mason Street entrance. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
