Geneva General Radiology Staff with CT

Finger Lakes Health offers a comprehensive array of diagnostic imaging services at its locations throughout the Finger Lakes area.  Our investment in the latest diagnostic technologies allows you the access, convenience and timeliness of service that you expect from us, without having to drive to larger metropolitan areas.

Among our diagnostic technologies are:

  • a new 64-slice CT scanner, making Geneva General Hospital the first hospital in the region to offer this leading edge computed tomography (CT) technology
  • the recently installed 16-slice spiral CT unit at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital improves patient care by providing angiography capability, improved image resolution, reduced scan time per procedure and diagnostic tools, such as detailed 3-D reconstruction
  • the gold standard in osteoporosis diagnosis, the dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry - or DEXA - bone densitometer
  • the computer-aided detection (CAD) R2 ImageChecker® system to assist radiologists in detecting irregularities of the breast by providing a technology-aided double-read evaluation
