Century Salute Ice Cream

Seneca Farms, 2485 NY-54A, Penn Yan has created a special ice cream, Century Salute, a classic throwback cherry vanilla ice cream specially made to commemorate the hospital’s 100th birthday. 

 

A portion of sales of pints or gallons of the special ice cream will also go to support Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital’s new digital X-ray room. 

 

“There isn't a more enjoyable way to celebrate a birthday than with ice cream!  We are so grateful to Nitosha Fingar and her family for their creativity and for their generosity,” says Finger Lakes Health Foundation Director of Development, Mary Sue Dehn. 

 

“Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital has cared for the people of Penn Yan and Yates County for a century. The community that built the hospital has supported it ever since, and we are excited to involve as many of our neighbors and friends in the celebration as possible as we lead up to the hospital’s actual anniversary in October.”
