Physician Referral

Finger Lakes Health provides a Physician Referral Service designed to assist community members in finding a physician to meet their needs. The caller may then use this information to contact the doctor to schedule an appointment. The Physician Referral Service contains information for more than 80 physicians, certified in more than 20 specialties. The service includes those physicians who have admitting privileges at Geneva General Hospital and/or Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital.

Callers may obtain names and phone numbers of physicians from the referral service, but based on individual insurance requirements, they may still need to obtain a referral from their primary care physician to see another doctor.

The Physician Referral Service, available Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., is a free service to the caller and the participating physicians. All referrals are based on patient need and preference. Callers may request to remain anonymous.
