Finger Lakes Health has announced that Kyle Vanderlip has been named the new director of the Jim Dooley Center for Early Learning. She replaces Kathy Brown Ryrko, who served as director of the center since it opened in 1989. Ryrko is beginning a well-deserved retirement.
Vanderlip earned her Master of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in education, from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.
Prior to joining Finger Lakes Health, she was the director of KinderCare Education in Victor, NY.
Vanderlip (formally known as Kyle Simon) returns to the area and lives in Canandaigua, NY with her two boys, Michael (age 2.5) and Devin (age 5) and husband Brian. In her free time, Vanderlip enjoys time with her family, exploring the Finger Lakes and enjoying time on the lake.
