Jose Acevedo, M.D., MBA, President and CEO of Finger Lakes Health has announced that Trisha Koczent, CPA, FHFMA has been named treasurer and chief financial officer for Finger Lakes Health.

Koczent has over 25 years of experience in healthcare finance. Most recently she worked at Auburn Community Hospital where she was the Chief Financial Officer. She oversaw all financial operations and departments, including Accounting and Payroll, Revenue Cycle, Patient Accounts, Health Information Management, Physician Billing, Population Health, and Materials Management. Prior to that, she held various executive positions in healthcare leadership in the Finger Lakes region.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from St. John Fisher in Rochester, New York where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and attended The Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement through the Healthcare Association of New York at Cornell University.

Koczent enjoys traveling, biking, boating, golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in Geneva with her husband Rob and three dogs.

Finger Lakes Health is a not-for-profit health system that provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Services are provided on three campuses located in Geneva, NY (Ontario County), Waterloo, NY (Seneca County) and Penn Yan, NY (Yates County). The 635-bed health system is governed by a common Board of Directors and is served by a common management team. The health system offers a broad range of primary, specialty and sub-specialty services to residents of the Finger Lakes region.
