Thank you so much for considering a gift to Finger Lakes Health. Your gift makes a great impact and is deeply appreciated.
The mission of the Finger Lakes Health Foundation is to cultivate, secure and steward philanthropic gifts to support the capital, programmatic and endowment needs of Finger Lakes Health.
Gifts to the Foundation support programs and special projects of Finger Lakes Health and its affiliated entities- Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Living Centers at Geneva North and South, Huntington Living Center, The Homestead and physician practices, as well as grants to support health and health-education programs and projects in Ontario, Yates, Seneca and Wayne counties.
Christina 45, a patient of LifeCare, at her primary care doctor’s suggestion had a screening mammogram which she recognizes saved her life. “I cannot say enough about the important of preventive screenings, it saved my life; it doesn’t get any more important than that.”
Billy, a young, physically strong man, who at age 29 was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a resident at the Homestead at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. As Billy’s disease has progressed, he and his family rely upon the caregivers at the Homestead to help care for him and manage this medical condition. His mother, Cathy, in response to inquiries from friends and family about ‘how they could help’ encouraged them to donate toward renovations of a special multi-sensory room at the Homestead where light and other stimuli have demonstrated positive effects for those living with cognitive disorders and dementia.
We cannot do it without your support.
You may designate your contribution for use within a specific entity, program or department, or make your gift on an unrestricted basis.
