Helen Wong

Dr. Wong is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. While at Harvard, she was a John Harvard Scholar and received her degree in Biology with cum laude in General Studies. She then received her M.D. at the University of Rochester and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Her post graduate training consisted of a one year internship in general surgery followed by four years of orthopaedic residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center. During her years of training, emphasis was placed on joint replacement surgery, trauma, and injuries to the upper extremity. 

Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She is also certified by the ISCD to interpret bone densitometry and to treat osteoporosis. She is a member of the Rochester Orthopaedic Society, The New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as the New York State and Ontario County Medical Societies.

Dr. Wong is an avid runner who enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family hiking and skiing.
