Geneva General Hospital’s Radiology and Women’s Health Services Excel at Annual DOH Survey
Geneva, NY—Geneva General Hospital’s Radiology and Women’s Health Services recently underwent their semi-annual New York State Department of Health Survey and were both found to be free of any deficiencies by the New York State Department of Health. This survey is conducted under strict guidelines, established by the State of New York, in areas such as patient and staff safety, processes and procedures, quality control and performance improvement.

“The staff in these two areas should take pride in this accomplishment. This type of clinical excellence is a tribute to their dedication to the patients of Finger Lakes Health” said Jeff Fultz, director of diagnostics.

Geneva General Hospital’s Women’s Health Services and Radiology departments see over 26,000 patients a year for testing including mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsies, bone density scanning and diagnostic imaging (X-Ray).
